We watched a team of fisherman haul in a
fishing net at Varkala beach.
This is the same operation as described in Installment 14 on Kovalam,
but we had a better view here from the cliff above. Two teams
on the beach pull on the ends of the net, while a third team in the water
herds the fish into the fine mesh portion of the net.
